Australia will establish a temporary space tracking terminal on Cocos (Keeling) Islands. This facility will actively support India’s Gaganyaan human spaceflight programme. It will ensure continuous communication with ISRO’s crew module during its upcoming test flights. Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s recent lunar south pole landing achievement. India also aims to build its own space station in the future.
