Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut condemned an alleged assault on hospital staff by a corporator. He urged Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take strict action against the accused. CCTV footage purportedly showed Ramesh Mhatre and supporters assaulting medical personnel at a hospital. Mhatre denied assaulting female doctors and nurses, citing camera angles and informal interaction. Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde assured that a case was registered and action would follow.
