Mizoram’s Zoram People’s Movement has made history by winning its first Rajya Sabha seat. Senior leader K Laltluangkima secured the lone Upper House seat in the state assembly election. He defeated the Mizo National Front candidate. This victory marks a significant milestone for the ZPM party. Laltluangkima becomes the party’s inaugural Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha.
